
This specialty coffee is grown in the high altitudes of the Western Ghats mountains of southern India. Small farmers cultivate a multitude of crops on their acreage along with the coffee trees, including bananas, avocados, peppers and oranges. Roasted lightly to bring out its decadence, this varietal flourishes with sweet flavors of apple juice and caramel, as well as subtle notes of peanut butter and spiced rum cake.
