Airport Barista

Description: Millcreek Coffee is interviewing baristas for our airport location! We are searching for customer-oriented, motivated and responsible individuals that have a love for local coffee and coffee roasters. This is a very fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Millcreek Coffee Baristas are expected to set the example to deliver extraordinary experiences to customers. Baristas prepare beverages including coffee and non-coffee beverages, prepare food, perform basic opening and closing tasks including: inventory, cleaning, cash handling, point-of-sale work, restocking etc.

Qualifications: Baristas must enjoy working with coffee, have a great attitude, work well with others, lead by example, be honest in cash handling and have excellent customer service skills. A food handler’s permit is required. Barista experience is required for this position.

Must be able to pass a TSA background check and able to work a very flexible schedule.

Job Type: Part-time and full-time

Airport Salary: $15.00 per hour plus tips (estimated at $8.00 + per hour)

Airport – evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and weekends required
Weekly day range:

Must be available weekdays and weekends
Part-time and full-time availability

Lead Prep Cook

Description: 
Millcreek Coffee is hiring in our commissary that supports our two retail locations.

Do you take pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly?

Responsibilities:
- Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
- Operate, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the commissary daily. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all required food and paper products.
- Maintain logs and HACCAP procedures accordingly
- Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
- Follow and complete all items required as listed on shift prep-sheet.
- Responsible for set-up, regular maintenance, cleaning, and break-down of any machinery and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality.
- Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
- Inform the manager immediately of product shortages.
- Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas (including all coolers and refrigerators), empty and re-line all trash containers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1-year experience as prep cook preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance, professionalism, and effective communication in English
- Team-oriented, flexible, and accountable
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and pushing/pulling are part of the job
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive an agency vehicle when needed
- Current Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain one within two weeks of hire
